Huggies Supreme Gentle Care Diapers Review
I have 23 month old twins and over the course of their lives, I feel like I’ve tried just about every brand of diapers out there. We started in Pampers and then when they got about 6 months old, we changed to store-brands, some were okay, some were horrible. However, I noticed about 2-3 months ago that those store brands were always leaking at night. We did try Huggies Overnights, but I found that it’s just a pain to have daytime and nighttime diapers. We tried regular Huggies, but there were still a few leaks. About a month ago, I exclusively switched to the Huggies Supreme and I am so happy that I did. We now have very few leaks. I have one of each (boy and girl), and the Huggies Supreme works so well on each of them. Yes, they are a little more expensive. With the Amazon subscription, I am paying about 28c a diaper. That’s just about a cent less than Walmart, but I’m not having to lug them home. Having them come to my door is a bigger plus that you might think. Plus, they are just so darn cute. They are very soft and cushy and I just feel good about putting them on my babies (as silly as that may sound).

I’ve been using both Pampers Swaddlers, generic brands, regular Huggies and Huggies Supreme since my baby was born but now she’s solely on Huggies Supreme. Some generic brands were ok but didn’t absorb as much, or stretch to fit correctly, or ripped, but that’s we expected for the price. Pampers Swaddlers has the weave that sticks to the skin when there was a dirty diaper. Regular Huggies had some crystal like particles that formed on her skin everytime there was a wet diaper. I stopped using Huggies until a friend recommended this when she was 4 months old and was in between sizes. This was the perfect size, no crystals, absorbs well, and is also really soft. Better than expected.

I have a baby with very chunky thighs, and these diapers fit her the best out of all I’ve tried. She’s also prone to “diaper explosions” and while no diaper can totally prevent that, I’ve found that since using these diapers the need for emergency baths after a diaper change has been greatly reduced. I also like that these diapers are unscented. I personally can’t stand the odor of the scented diapers. With the Subscription program through amazon, you get the most expensive diapers for the best price that I’ve found anywhere.

My son has fat legs and this shape fits him perfectly. When he was 0-6 months, I used all types of diapers for him (Pampers, Target Brand, BabiesRUs brand, Costco brand, cheaper Huggies brand, Huggies Supreme brand). Some worked (Both Huggies brand, BabiesRUs) and some leaked (Target, Costco). The Pampers held well but the shape is not comfortable for my son. The middle part of the diaper is too wide for his legs and it was too perfumy for my liking. Once he was 7 months old, he was sleeping thru the night (5:30pm-7am). He leaked in ALL the diaper brands every morning EXCEPT for the Huggies Supreme. So now I use Huggies Supreme, and make sure to fit the waist-tabs really snug. For boys, they tend to shoot out of their diapers.
